We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our team.
The Role
You’ll lead day-to-day delivery across complex client engagements—owning planning, cadence, risk management, and partner coordination—while ensuring our work meets high standards of quality and is delivered on time and on budget.
This is a full-time role that starts as a contractor engagement with the intention to convert to a long-term permanent role.
You likely bring:
6+ years in project/program management (agency, studio, or product delivery environment)
Strong facilitation skills and comfort leading cross-functional teams
High craft in planning, documentation, and communication
Fluency with modern tooling (Notion, Google Workspace, Slack; Smartsheet a plus)
Comfort operating in ambiguity and building lightweight systems
About the work
You will lead project management across a range of brand and digital engagements with purpose-led organizations. The work often includes multiple workstreams (e.g., brand + web/product + research) and collaboration with external partners.
This is a remote role with strong overlap with Eastern Time working hours (Toronto-friendly).
Key Responsibilities
Own delivery operations end-to-end
Build and maintain integrated plans (milestones, dependencies, decision points)
Drive task hygiene in Notion (clear owners, due dates, next steps)
Create lightweight systems that reduce meetings while increasing visibility
Run project cadence + facilitation
Set agendas, facilitate working sessions, capture decisions, and ensure follow-through
Maintain a clear weekly rhythm across internal, client, and partner touchpoints
Stakeholder + partner coordination
Manage client communications, expectations, and approvals
Coordinate with external partners to align timelines and dependencies
Risk, scope, and budget stewardship
Track risks/issues and surface tradeoffs early
Support scope management and change control in collaboration with leadership
Coordinate resourcing and capacity planning with internal leads
Documentation + handoffs
Keep the project source of truth current (meeting notes, key links, deliverables)
Drive clear internal/external handoffs (design → build, partner → team, etc.)
Benefits
4-day work week
Remote-first, with access to co-working spaces as needed
Opportunities for professional growth and skill development
Permanent compensation determined at conversion (contractor start rate guide: $75-95 CAD/hour)
